Tom comes to us by way of Poland. He graduated from The School of Swedish Massage in 1999 where they emphasized pathology and a fast paced Russian massage technique. It was during this program that he discovered the deep healing effects massage can have on the body.
In 2002 he continued his education at a massage therapy school in New Jersey where he focused on reflexology, Shiatsu and relaxation techniques.
Tom uses a blend of therapeutic but also relaxation techniques that make his style more of a European style of massage. He likes focusing on deep tissue and sports massage but is skilled in all aspects of his field.
In 2004 he moved with his family to beautiful Oregon, which was the perfect place, since Tom loves hiking and is an avid rock climber and mountaineer. These skills give him a unique perspective of how massage can benefit people with an active lifestyle and sooth their overworked muscles.
Free graduated from East/West massage at the Oregon School of Massage in Portland Oregon. She has worked for over a decade in the healing arts and enjoys supporting her clients with their healing journey. As a licensed massage therapist she has studied and worked in Europe, Canada and the United States and continues to practice modalities such as Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Sound/Energy Healing, Hot Stones, Reflexology as well as incorporating somatic psychology and mindfulness into the mix.
Most of her current sessions include using Hot Stones which help with relaxing the fascia and muscles combined with Swedish and Shiatsu techniques. The Swedish mixed with Shiatsu massage assists in body circulation, muscle relaxation/release of tension combined with the Chinese Meridian Yin/Yang systems and Reiki which helps balance the body’s energy system. She likes to complete her sessions with some Craniosacral Therapy techniques and Sound Healing which help with energy grounding, balancing and releasing.
She is very excited to meet and share all her bodywork experience with clients at NVS Massage!
